It looks like the high bid of $406.99 on our friend's Dalhart Black Patti with the two big rim chips didn't make the reserve, so he will continue to enjoy this record himself.

These must be pretty good songs.  A shiny copy of this same record sold last year for $2400.

Somebody (whom I know) bought a purportedly rare Blu-Disc from our friend for $750 and then tried to return this "museum quality" "rare trophy" "THE STUFF THE "RECORD DREAMS" ARE MADE OF".

Check the seller's two negative feedbacks from May 11 and May 8.  As the seller says, "PLEASE READ MY FEEDBACK IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT OTHER E BAYERS THINK ABOUT ME, MY GRADING, AND MY PACKAGING. THIS ALL ADDS UP TO GOOD BUISNESS FOR YOU AND FOR ME."

The feedback for the Blu-Disc says "DECEIEVINGLY LISTED REPRO! SELLER WOULD NOT REFUND MY $750 AFTER RETURN Beware!"

If ebay backed the seller of the Blu-Disc, per the seller's statement, the customer can still appeal to his credit card company if he paid Paypal by credit card rather via bank account withdrawal.

The other negative came from the sale of an Elvis in VG++

with the seller's usual "REAL NICE RECORD IN GREAT SHAPE WAITING FOR YOUR BID. ALL MY RECORDS PLAY VERY LOUD, CLEAR , AND STRONG ; UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. "

Check out the May 11 feedback on this.  The buyer wasn't so happy with the record or the seller's "expertise".  In deference to list members who are offended by crude language, I won't include the feedback in this message.

Doubtlessly, more acts involving our friend and those "juked malcontents" out there (none are on this list, I trust) will follow.  Who says that record collecting isn't exciting?/steve
