Here's his total history of negative/neutral feedbacks:

I have written to the list about him before. I once returned a misgraded record to him per mutual arrangement and he then wrote me a violent email. Since then, I have kept my distance.

A friend recently bought some severely over-graded records from him. His packing for my friend was terrible. Like Crumb's buddies in New York who sell on ebay for Crumb, he will block you if you dare to return an expensive over-graded record, despite the "gurantee".

In the case of the Black Patti, I expect he will get a decent price for this wall hanger.

Years ago, I bought a Black Patti. Despite the surface being in very nice condition, it has two problems:

1. It has a moon piece missing.

2. The performer is organist Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Played it once, keep it for trade.

The good news is that despite the moon piece missing, I don't long to hear the rest of the record./steve (who used to live just over the mountain from where Bussard and Kagarise found their famous trove of Black Patties)
