It wasn't too long ago I had asked specifically about what became of the few
pop D series items still in print at the time of the CBS takeover and was
told they were last offered with the blue microphone label after the
takeover.  Those still deemed salable were reissued with red labels but
renumbered in the 35XXX (et seq.) series, although many (if not all) were
coupled with different sides to the original releases.
