Did she speak English or German on the recording?

Remember: Queen Victoria was 3/4 German from ancestry. Her father,
Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and Strathearn, was half German and her
mother, Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, was 100 per cent German.
Young Victoria's governess was German and German became her first language.
She later married the German prince Albert and their household language
was always...you guessed it: German.
Cheers! Or should we say: Prosit!?
