Hi David!

Isn't John Charles Thomas whom Keel really resembles.
I noticed some time ago that he sounds like Lawrence Tibbett at times.
I understand now that he took lessons from Tibbett.

We watched Annie Get Your Gun last weekend. I was amazed how much Howard Keel's
timbre resembled that of John Charles Thomas. Put "Green Eyed Dragon" in front
of him and he could have done it justice.
