Is the matrix stamping in the font used by Columbia for the period? That's the big clue as to the source... those matrices sound/look AWFULLY familiar...

Subject: [78-L] Climax Double Disc Records

One of the things that I picked up on a whim over at Whistlin'
Willies this past weekend was a disk on the Climax label:

K203 The Yama-Yama Man (mx.4029) b/w Uncle Josh's Barn Dance (mx.3978)

No artist is noted.

Am I correct this label was an early Columbia label. I tried a google
of the record itself and came up nil, so the usual questions apply --
artist -- date etc. Any help please

T
