Has anyone here been to this show? I looked at the list of dealers and only
a very few seem to have 78s.

I think this is the current edition of a show that has been going for
40 or more years...?! It USED to have a corner set aside for us
78 folks...we would show up early and deal with one another...and
then leave our 78's on display for other folks who wanted them...!

Many/most of us 78 folks are long since gone...a substantial portion
of the group were gay (Brian Boyd et al) and fell victim to AIDS
before its threat was understood...! The reality is that there exists a
fixed number of "known" 78's...and these are being acquired by the
equally-fixed number of 78 collectors...!

However, in another 30-40 years all of us 78 collectors/accumulators
will have died of old age...and the hapless "last living 78 collector" will
wind up inheriting ALL the surviving 78's...?!
