Checking images, it appears that B-437 King Cole is the lowest cat.nr with Y/Z sides.
Last available B-series is B-465 by Jack Smith.
Cap 436 June Christy does not have a side indication.
Some labels in range 448-465 (with Y/Z sides) omit the B-prefix and are, I assume,
later pressings.

Cap 3262 Sixteen Tons does not have Y/Z sides, and 32173 also will not have them.
Last Y/Z side known to me from labels in the main series is:
Cap 1825-Z Les Paul: Jazz Me Blues (mx 7621, recd 7 Aug 1951).

Since Cap 1823 (Stan Kenton) was recd 20 Sep 51, the release date for 1825
may have been Nov/Dec 1951.

>>> I think they used Y and Z for a fairly short time, late 40s into 1951. For Nat
King Cole, B437 (Naughty Angeline/That's What) has Y/Z, indicating that they
did appear on black label; 1010 (The Greatest Inventor/Mona Lisa) has Y/Z sides
(and notice that they picked the wrong side), album sets like Hark! The Years
and Cyrano have Y/Z as well as side numbers, but these are gone by 1952. (Don't
try to figure this with Canadian Capitols..they used similar numbering systems
that didn't match up with the US, well into 1954.)
