Somehow this fits this topic as it is about AM radio.

My wife has a saying that the definition of insanity is doing the 
same thing over and over again and expecting different results. 
Something I read today fits this perfectly. CTVglobalmedia, the 
owners of the historic 1050 CHUM in Toronto in a fit of deja vu all 
over again, are flipping this abused station back to ALL SPORTS ALL 
OF THE TIME: TSN Radio 1050. To add insult to injury, re-enforcing 
American cultural imperialism, they'll even be simulcasting rubbish 
from the USA's ESPN Radio!. What part of the failure of 2001's 
debacle Team 1050 did they not learn from.

As CP24, they only got a .1 (point 1) share. I think that even goose 
farts get a higher share. Do they honestly think that they can shave 
any of The Fan 590's 2.8 share for themselves. The're never going to 
do any better than that (2.8)

What a waste of watts. Truly the sound of dying analog technology
