How often can 78-l use that pretext? Not often. Here in Tacoma Washington
tonights news will feature the discovery of 8,000 pristine, Armed Forces,
16" electrical transcriptions. These appear at first glance to be carefully,
purposefully preserved, catalogued and stored in the walls of the gymnasium.
The gym is being demolished for whatever comes next and certainly surprised
workers today when they found this treasure/obligation/whatever (depends
upon your view). They were stored in the walls in the early 1940s -- 1944, I
believe.

I've been asked to help them hear what they've got. Now, digital recordings
store that long would be long gone, at least if my CDs are any example.
