I wouldn't have noticed back then...this was 20-25 years before I became
interested in 78's...! However, I would guess that the 78's being broken
had been gone through by collectors (and bought by them if they were
worthwhile) before being sold off as junk...?! As well, keep in mind
that almost all Paramounts were NOT blues/gospel/c&w...I probably
own 100-200 of them, and virtually all thereof are NOT "valuable!"
I just own them because of my goal: "EF78REM(n-c)! BTW, "n-c"
means NOT classical...! I do own a few "Red Seals" and such...they
were included in large lots of 78's I have purchased!
