I've had an enquiry (so I haven't seen the records) regarding a set of 4
double-sided Tilophan label records of Alban Berg's Violin Concerto. Louis
Krasner soloist with the BBC SO, conductor Anton Webern.

Now, the recording was actually the British premiere of the work, 1936,
according to Wikipedia a private recording made on acetates which survived
in Krasner's collection.

The Tilophan 'label' is here:

And looks like a 'private-studio' type recording has been done, dubs from
the acetates maybe? The set of discs are in Austrian jackets. Paillard?

I've read that the original 8 acetates were provided by Krasner to make a CD
of the music, produced in 1991 by Continuum Records and released on EMI's
Testament label.
