[78-L] new setup

hello all I don't know if this went through last time.  
I recently changed my setup from purely LP and other stuff to 78/LP. I am  
using a Dual 1219 TT with Pickering XV15 with a 78 stylus and LP  stylus 
capability. I am using a Pioneer SG 9500 graphic EQ for 78's, H/K  330C amp 
that has a Mono switch through HPM100's speakers. For recording  purposes I can 
use a Teac 4300 RTR, Denon cassette deck or burn direct to CD  with a Koss 
cd burner. I was using Audacity to archive 78's but I felt it  lacking in 
the sonic's, same TT and stylus too. With the current setup  I  can dial in 
the 78's and get a much cleaner sound 78's that sounded swishy  compressed now 
sound open,deep sound and lush with very little  noise floor. I was just 
listening to Also Sprach Zathrusa BSO 1932 RCA Victor  that sounds very much 
like a modern mono recording. The drums in the opening are  loud and proud 
not mushy at all. I am very pleased and can't wait to plough  through the rest 
of my collection to see what I was missing I
