First recorded by Chubby Parker in 1927 (Gennett 6120). It was also known as "Ridin' on a Humpback Mule," and recorded by the Cumberland Ridge Runners, Bill Boyd & his Cowboy Ramblers, the Shelton Brothers, and others.
