I wonder if Bullets also threatened to let the world know that Allan Sherman
just might have been the creator of "You're In the Picture"?

IMDB lists Sherman and nobody else.

According to "A Gift of Laughter," he arranged for Sherman to receive a $1,500 advance for the album, of which Durgom received a 10% commission. But that wasn't enough for Durgom. Here's how the rest of the story went:

> "Sure," I said. What did he mean, decide?
> "Well, you've got no agent on this deal. That would have cost you ten percent. So you just pay me his ten percent, plus my ten percent- that makes twenty percent, and everything will be nice."
> (There goes $300 of my $1,500, I thought).
> "How much?" I asked.
> "Twenty percent. That's all."
> "Bullets, ain't you got no shame?"
> If he had any, it wasn't showing. I told him I'd have to sleep on it, and I went home but I didn't sleep.
> Bullets called me constantly for three or four days to get me to sign the contract. I avoided his calls whenever I could. He finally got me at nine o'clock one night and told me to meet him at the home of movie producer Joe Pasternak, about a half a mile from my house, and sign the contract immediately or the whole deal was off.
> My friend Everett Sloane went with me to Pasternak's house, but before we went, I typed out a single sheet of paper.
> When we got there, Everett, Bullets, and I sat down in Pasternak's library for a half an hour and I tried to get up the courage to tell Bullets that I thought he was asking too much money. I never did get up the courage.
> Once again I became The Undersigned.
> But before I signed, I handed Bullets the single sheet of paper I had typed out at my house. "You sign this first," I said. The paper had just one line written on it:
>
> THIS WILL CERTIFY THAT I AM A GREEDY BASTARD - Bullets Durgom

> Bullets signed it with a Flourish.
