Something I find continually interesting about this group is the variety of
opinions and passions.
What I would like to see is everybody's list of their five favorite musical
artists/bands/orchestras/groups found on 78s.
I don't want to be impressed. My list certainly isn't impressive but it is
real.
I'm thinking the list would be made of the artists/bands/orchestras/groups
you consider your comfort music.
If you can't do this off the top of your head/heart, please don't.
Mine changes every so often but here is my list of top five favorites as of
this week.
Louis Armstrong
Milton Brown
Rosetta Tharp
Wardell Gray
Count Basie
Looking at the names it comes to me that what I love about them all is their
interesting sense of rhythm.
