[78-L] Cecil and Sally Radio Transcriptions - One last question - How Many?

I can hardly imagine that only 53 copies of each show would have been
made, especially in the days of shellac transcriptions. If a record was
broken in shipment, it would need to be replaced. Additional copies
required. If the studio or program producer or advertising agency
maintained any kind of a library of shows, more copies would be
required. There are probably other reasons or uses for additional
copies. Maybe 53 was the number of domestic stations, what if a show was
syndicated in other countries? That means more copies.

This is a great question. I hope someone has some answers.
