Because the record company either (1) had a bunch of unsold discs from
the original issue...or (2-mostly Grey Gull!) sold a variety of labels and
thus often discovered some sold much better than did others! There are
also a few cases where older discs were "pasteovered" in hopes that a
few more could be sold...?!
