The first 78 I had of Autry's 'Rudolph' was the kiddie label version but a
very battered copy. Many years later I found the red label version. They
do differ in sound, with the kiddie version mastered considerably hotter
than the original, and some limiting to keep the peaks from peaking, as it
were. This is the case for both sides of the records.
