Interesting!! Plus there were the odd spindle size pastover labels in the early 
acoustic era too.

Some REX and EMPIRE labels are pasted-over each other, but I forget which would 
be on top.  They were left over when one 

company went out of business. I have some small European discs with paste-overs, 
which are especially obvious because 

they're on top of ETCHED labels !
