I'm fascinated when I see people being interviewed on TV, with a 
bookcase behind them. Apart from the distraction caused by me trying to 
read the titles of the books and not listening to what they are saying, 
on most occasions the shelves are sagging. And most of them could afford 
decent shelving.

I think the setup is pretentious in the extreme.
