My filing system starts with white labels, then silver, yellow, red, green, blue and black. I have an MLS but I have overcome it.
Seriously, I have over a thousand party records and many of them just have plain, colored labels with titles. The 'normal' ones are filed by label and catalog number.
My Oberstein collection is sorted by label but largely sedimentary beyond that. Everything else 78 is label and number. CD's and LP's by performer.
