"Did he make any 78's?"

He did indeed!

An album of Monteverdi with a group led by Nadia Boulanger, which in spite of its anachronism is still one of the treasures of the gramophone! If he had recorded nothing but the 'Zefiro torna' duet he would be immortal!

Brahms' 'Liebeslieder Walzer' with basically the same group, plus Dinu
Lipatti, plus other items by Brahms and Schubert.

Mozart cantatas and songs on Tresor de musique.

Couperin - lecon #3 de tenebres. Another glory of the gramophone!

A Technichord album of baroque cantatas

Jean Binet songs, Swiss Elite

Delannoy - brief excerpts from Phillipine

Mozart, Couperin and Delannoy are/were? on Cascavelle CD's. Monteverdi,
Brahms and Schubert are/were on Pearl.

Don't know if there were more; unfortunately only the 48 GramEncyc has a
performer index....
