[78-L] Slate label info?

I'm seeking any additional information about the post-war Slate label of Newark, N.J. Whatever anyone can add to the scraps below will be greatly appreciated!

SLATE label (78 rpm): Possibly affiliated with or pressed by MGM, it operated from mid-1946 until at least 1954, and early labels showed a Newark address at 209 Clinton Ave.; by 1949 labels showed 972 Broad St. The label may have been owned or run by Ray Gould.
