[78-L] 50 cm. Pathe discs

It really depends on what these Pathé 50cm discs are.

Are they the 1905 one-sided, red-labelled, so called 'cement' discs?  
Then they usually go for about $500 each (400 euros), even in unplayable condition. 

If the are of the 1906 etched label kind, then it all depends on the music and the 
musicians. In average, I'd say, about $80 to 100$ each, when sold individually. 

So, 1000 quid for 17 discs is not unrealistic - depending on the music recorded. 
But beware - if the music is of 'no interest', like 'bugle calls' or 'bell solos', then it may 
be difficult for the seller to get even $30 each.
