The BOOZE would have gotten the place shut down in 1920!!  Why worry
about the dirty jokes?  

My question about the performance was whether Sophie went up on the last
note in the earlier cylinder recordings like the singer on the show
(still nameless(?) ).  All the recordings I've heard from the 20s onward
have her (pardon the expression) going down on the last notes.
