I like Buy it Now listings. They have enabled me to get some good 
deals without getting into ridiculous bidding wars. That said, 
however, I do agree that sometimes eBay sellers who live in the 
valley of the clueless do list some stuff like 'Vintage Antique Album 
- Bill Haley - Rock Around the Clock -- jukebox/ wurlitzer' and price 
it at $29.95.
