[78-L] Freddy or... r

Mal,  I am one of those who "actually has the 78rpm records" and as I'd 
mentioned before,  none of the pre-war Brunswicks or Columbias say anything 
other than "Freddy" with a "y."

I don't have very many Bluebirds or Victors,  but all of the ones I have 
also say "Freddy."   The two latest Victors I have are 20-3324 and 
20-3841...both say "Freddy."

Seems odd that there would be an inconsistency about the spelling.

BTW although Voc 2643 does give label credit to "Fred Stone" there are other 
Vocalions  by Martin which are credited to "Freddie Stone."
