Greetings. As a bidder (not high bidder) on this record, the seller felt compelled to send me this note:

"Hello, I'm the seller for the Beatles That'll Be The Day 78. There has been so much interest and so many questions, we had to do a lot more research into this record. I found out that the John Lowe copies didn't actually play, and this one does. We then thought maybe this is one of Paul's copies. We had played it at 45 on our stereo just to check it out, so we took it to a friend's to play at 78, and In Spite of All The Danger was 2 minutes 48 seconds, which is too short for the original 3 minutes and 44 seconds. So, I don't think it's one of the 50 Paul made either. Also, now I was getting to be almost sure it's a regular vinyl record, not an acetate, then we noticed that with back-lighting, there are 3 extra holes in it, hidden by the label. PLease email me if you know anything more! If you need to retract a bid, you can do that, or email me for help. Thanks! jstbuyit"

Came across this one today.

Problem is that in 2000 Paul McCartney actually had the original in
his possession. He had a small quantity (25 maybe) of copies pressed
at both 45 and 78.

Me thinks this is one of those too good to be true thingers
