In Sudhalter's book "Bix Man and Legend",Heatherton was mentioned as
introducing the song "I Kiss
Your Hand,Madame".I have that song by Bing Crosby on Columbia.I bought it back
in 1978 when Coos
Bay,Oregon's oldest radio station KOOS went off the air in 1977.The following
year,Ed Keim,who ow-
ned the station at that time(it went on the air in 1928:Coos Bay was then known
as Marshfield),sold off
the large collection of 78s back in October of 1978.Heatherton was also a
bandleader according to Ge-
orge T. Simon in his book "The Big Bands".I don't know if Heatherton ever sang
with the Rhythm Boys.
The only other thing I know about him was that he was Joey Heatherton's dad and
was married to foot-
ball star Lance Rentzel back in 1970.
