[78-L] Kansas City Jazz (Decca DL-8044) 78 rpm set info?

I got the 1954 LP of this in the mail today & it's almost near mint plus sounds
much better than the more worn 60's issue of the LP which I've had for many
years. Also found Gems Of Jazz all 5 volumes on Ebay (some are the 78rpm sets &
others are the LP issue)  which should arrive soon. And Steven is right about
the spelling. It is James Rushing. Guess I'll search Ebay for the New Orleans &
Chicago City Jazz sets. Don't know if they will turn up as LP's, 78's or
both......

Correct the above to "James *R*ushing!"

Also, I have three or so of these sets; they were album sets (usually SIX
78's)
and the discs were all in Decca's 50-cent 18### series. They were generally
NOT "reissues" of earlier Decca singles...but seem to have been recorded
for the album issues.
