[78-L] The Suggestive Sell

In a (sadly) related tale...a few years ago, I dropped into a small 
"independent"
thrift store here in Oshawa. They had a handful of 78's (10 or so)...ALL
of which were priced at TEN bucks per each...! I asked at the front counter
if that was actually the price...and was officiously told "Yes! These
records are VERY old, and VERY valuable...!"

I didn't have the heart to tell them that I already owned tens of thousands
of the dommed things...?!
