Actually it breaks a whole whack of rules about good web page design. 
The busy background, the colours used, the font sizes ... all make 
for an experience akin to giving your eyes and acid bath!

At least he doesn't have a midi file or other audio being played 
every time you hit the page -- or a thing that says he's a member of 
the 'International Guild of Webmasters' , which is something  that 
will get you anything off the McDoanld's Value menu for 99 cents
