[78-L] My Name Is Larry (was Shootin' Barr)

No, the first Rhino artist was Larry "Wild Man" Fischer singing "My Name Is Larry." I remember in the old days of the nocturnal record swap meet underneath the Capitol Tower in the mid-70s. We heard this strange chant - "My Name Is Lar---reeee!" from a distance. This disheveled character was sitting against a brick building with his feet outstretched singing this song, over and over again. When Harold Bronson and Richard Foos of the Rhino Record Shop discovered him, it was probably the most inauspicious start of any record label.
