[78-L] Cheesy CD production

A friend asked me to listen to a CD he'd bought and thought was defective.
Ver-r-r-ry interesting..it's the Helen Forrest & Harry James Readers Digest
Sessions, issued on CD-R by "Amazon's Disc On Demand". You get no liner notes,
no information, a booklet that has an incredibly foul smell, and a CD derived
from fluttery master tapes and with a glitch between tracks 2 & 3 (the music
starts at the end of track 2, then repeats on track 3)..no idea if more of
these occur.
