Hi David
40-6067 is a single side number allocated to a specific title. These
numbers continued to appear on HMV labels well after most titles were
coupled in double-face form. It was no doubt useful to have a number
attached to a title passed for publication while waiting for a decision
about what would be a suitable coupling for it. Once the coupling
decision was made then an appropriate catalogue number could be assigned
and the disc prepared for issue.
