Okeh. The only other info that I have re; Bernie personnel is a pencilled
note to myself in ADBD.
I entered it in a helter-skelter manner right near the July 13, 1936 entry..
I got the information via a broadcast of some
long forgotten jazz program on a university station. So without further
ado,, or much confidence in the given data about their respective
instruments, here they are. ( as of the date which is long past your area of
interest. Ah well.)
Bill Herman,George Bone (sic) Frank Meyers, Manny Prager. Gray Rains, saxes.
(I think) (5 saxes ????) Hmmmm! Probably a violin stowed in there someplace.
Charles Castaldo and Lou McGarity-trombones
Bernard Shaw, Bunny Snyder- trumpets,
Lloyd Bennett-bass
Bernie Scherier-guitar
Nick Brodeur -piano
Johnny Blowers-drums
Hw does this relate to your queston about 1932 personnel?
Funny that you asked.
Al Simmons
