No...back when I was MUCH younger (fifties IIRC) there was a sort of
"movement" to promote buying accordions, and lessons thereon, for
one's children. I have NO idea how widespread this was; however, it
left behind many young people who (1) never mastered the accordion...
and (2) never wanted to SEE one again...?!
