Very impressive all the same.
Wonder if the average "home" collector managed to accumulate the 500 discs!


I was more curious than anything... just interested to know how big some series or collections/sets/albums got...

There's a history of Czech music issued in 1948 that ran to about 500 discs, I 
think, but that's probably not what you want. And a complete Meistersinger would 
have to come in two or three albums, minimum.
