Some time in the second half of 1940, in New York. There was a request for information about any recordings by Beryl Rubinstein recently, either on this list or 88sOn78s. I knew there were a couple of Columbia discs but couldn't find them in the Gramophone Shop Encyclopedia or any of my Columbia catalogs until I found them in the 1942 edition.
