Thanks Mike & Alan,
Item is on auction site - description is unclear as to whether it is a lacquer or pressing - though the
label would tend to support it being a lacquer. Item 130408975402 - "FRANCESCO TAMAGNO, performing Herodiade: Adieu vaint ojets
(mx. 3016ft / February 1903 /52680) and GIOVANNI GRAVINA performing Gioconda: La turbini e farnetichi (mx. 1714b / March 1902 /
52343) on this private MSS Recording Company dubbing."
  Best wishes, Thomas.

Is this a lacquer by the Marguerite Sound Studio? Recorded by them or
on a blank manufactured by then? Colinbrook was the location of their
manufacturing factory, but their recording studio was in London. It was
run by Cecil E. Watts, later famous for the Dust Bug, and they were one
of the originators of nitrate lacquer discs in England between 1934 and
1936. The first ones were hand sprayed by Cecil and his wife Agnes but
if yours has a Colinbrook address it must be later than that. Your disc
was probably recorded by someone else than MSS. Date and info?
