He is obviously differentiating it from the non-existant "Promo" copy. Term usually used by sellers of postwar records.
 
Stock means regular issued copy.
 
 Of course-Only problem is there were no promo copies then...

Why does the seller call this a "stock copy"?  Maybe because it looks like 
it's been kicking around the stockyards for a while.    There is sure plenty 
of "bull" in the description.

Also he can't remember how to spell "remember."
