[78-L] End of an Era: Dr. Demento ends radio run

Barry Hansen used to sell records at our local swap meet in the 1970s and '80s and I got to know him then. He attended my wedding (he sat at the two tables I reserved for record collectors, labeled Table 78-A and 78-B). My favorite story about Barry was when he didn't show up to sell one month so I called him later in the week. I asked him about his not coming and inquired about when he would come to sell again. His response: "when the stacks of records out on the patio begin to sway."
