[78-L] Discographic quest--WAS: Country Music discography

Okeh...my position is this! I won't be even close to "prosperous" (note that
my
definition thereof is WELL below any rational definition...?!) until at
least the
beginning of the coming "year" (1 July 2010). However, once I have even
minimal "spendin' cash" I intend to expand my "half-vast" discographic
library (i.e. buy ADBD II, the C&W discog, and several other fairly-recently
announced discographic works...!).

Any suggestions as to WHAT I should buy...and WHERE to get that most
affordably?! As an "old f...ogey," I have a rather limited pension income...
some of which has to cover items like rent, utilities and a modicum of
beer...so the idea is to maximize the "bang for the buck!" Keep in mind
that my "ideal scenario" is one wherein I could look up any/every 78
I acquire (I still need about 2.8 million to reach my idealized goal...?!)
and determine its recording date and the personnel involved (insofar
as possible, since much of this data is long since lost...?!

Comment ca va?!
