On Tues Leah and I stopped at an antique mall, Harpeth Antique Mall, off
I-65 south of Nashville in Franklin, 1203 Nurfresboro Rd, and were
surprised that the manager was a phonograph and record person, Cal
Zehner. He had some machines and supplies and a few hundred records of
limited interest. He had all of Tim Frabrizio's books for sale, which
reminded me that Tim had not been at ARSC. Zener also knows Tim.

There were about 20 or so classical albums and I was surprised that I
found a bunch of them on Victor to be of great interest to me -- some
non-music. Some I had been looking for for quite a while. I have the
LPs of the first two, but had never heard of the third one, and have
never seen any of these before.

M 777 I Hear America Singing John Charles Thomas
           (Kleinsinger-Whitman Cantana)

M 753 Scenes from Shakespeare's Plays Otis and Camila Otis Skinner
M 909 Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory Helen Hayes
(Kurt Weil settings of Americana lyrics)
(Bing's reading of The Star Spangled Banner as a poem is MUCH
BETTER than what Helen Hayes does on this one. She is over the top, and
Bing was contemplative.)

M 768 Russian Liturgical Music Platoff Don Cossack Chorus

Two bucks a disc, near mint condition.
