[78-L] Whither NOLA

I was there in 1984 and it wasn't much then. My impression was that it was almost the size of a mobile home trailer and not very well cared for. I remember seeing the Victor JR Picture Disc in a display and it was cracked with lots of lam markings. I thought to myself "This was the best that they could do?" I gave a talk at the Rodgers Memorial Conference. It was a who's who of presenters: Charles Wolfe, Ivan Tribe, Jim Akenson were among them. The presenters outnumbered the audience. I think I spoke to 7 people.
