Climax was the original name of what later became Columbia (1900-01).
The label was was later revived by Columbia ("K" prefix) since they owned
the rights to the brand name...! The first Climax discs started the Columbia
catalog-number sequence; the subsequent Climax discs were issued by
Columbia and were two-sided. AFAIK, unless the name was re-used, it
has NO connection with Blue Note (I wait to be corrected?!)...?!
