[78-L] Capitol in Mexico via Jo Stafford

Came across this item on my walk down the aisles at eBay

Its a Mexican 78 on Capitol of Jo Stafford doing White Christmas and 
Silent Night. Catalogue C 5059 mx C 999 and C 1225. These were 
originally released on Capital 319 in the USA in 1946 according to 
Jim Marshall's discography of Jo.

I had though that Capitol didn't have a presence in Mexico until the 
1960s, and the prior to that everything came out on Musart. The label 
styles are definitely 1950s-ish for Capitol.

So, what was Capitol's history in Mexico? Anyone have any idea of a 
date on this item?
