The Weavers, of course, became famous (and may have made unexpected amounts 
of money?! when "Goodnight,
Irene" unexpectedly became a hit record in mid-1950! I was a VERY young 
child, unexpectedly invited to join
my father's journey to see his surviving brother who lived in Bremerton, 
Washington. Our trip hit all the
usual tourist spots...Mount Rushmore, Mount Ranier (where I fed a bear by 
hand?!) and IIRC Pike's Peak!
and all we heard was "Goodnight, Irene!"
