[78-L] Handpowered record player - weren't we discussing thisrecently?

There was a BIRCH PHONOGRAPH COMPANY in New Rochelle, NY which
made "portable" windup phonographs - small suitcase size, with acoustic
reproducer.  Into the late 1950's.
Anyone know the history of that company?  Thanks!
